“Telling an atheist they’re going to hell is like telling a religious person they’re going to candyland. I’m sorry, you don't scare us.” __________ Stamp by
i respect your beliefs, but, as you found it neccisary to speak your mind here, i am free, to speak my mind here right, i am not trying to toi cause drama, or to convert you but start an intellectual conversation, as i believe the best way to reflect on ones own beliefs is to speak with someone who doesnt agree with you, you could call me a very untraditional christian. i believe in christ, yet i rarely pray. i believe he died for our sins, yet i dont wake up on sunday. because i believe that god doesnt want us to live in fear of him, that we are meant to live free and that he allows us to make our own fate. i also believe that some religious people are zealous, and over fanatical. and i know i might be wrong, that islam might be the answer, that buddhism might be the answer that atheism might be the answer, but i shall believe what i believe.
Im not an atheist (I dont consider myself to be an atheist, but other people do TT.TT) and people are always saying I am going to hell so now I have something to say back
I don't believe in God either. The main difference between a nihilist and an atheist, is that for the most part, atheists simply don't believe and have no desire to do so under any circumstances. A nihilist is open to proof and will accept it, despite not caring about religion. In my eyes, religion is a mythology. If I'm proven wrong, so be it.
I'm a nihilist, but people often confuse that with atheism.
